This piece was inspired by a recent trip to Miami, Florida, where I spent countless hours simply watching waves crash on the beach. I couldn't help but admire the constant ebbing and flowing of the water, and the brilliant shades of blues and teals that shone in light of the mid-day sun, and used a pallet knife to recreate the fluidity of what I saw.
